Chocolate maker Manam raises $9-M led by Omnivore
Hyderabad-based Manam Chocolate has raised USD 9 million in a Series A funding round led by Omnivore, with participation from the Turner Morrison consortium.Founded in 2021 by Chaitanya Muppala, the firm operates as a vertically integrated, “farm-to-bar” chocolate company under the brands Manam and Distinct Origins. The company manages the entire cacao value chain, including cultivation, fermentation, and chocolate production, and currently works with more than 250 farmers across 3,000 acres in the West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh.Manam plans to use the new funds to launch new retail outlets in the Delhi NCR region over the next 12 months. The capital will also support the company in strengthening operations and presence across sourcing and manufacturing networks.
