Clean-tech firm YOGa raises Rs.20-Cr from Info Edge Ventures, others
Gurugram-based YOGa Clean Air has raised INR 20 crore in its Series A funding round led by Info Edge Ventures, with participation from Zomato founder Deepinder Goyal and Three Words Capital.Founded in 2019 by Sachin Panwar, Deepak Raina, and Gaurav Nagar, the company builds indoor air-quality systems. Unlike conventional air purifiers that treat limited areas, the company’s technology filters outdoor air and uses positive air pressure to maintain air quality across entire buildings.The company plans to use the new funds to strengthen its presence in existing markets and expand its footprint into new Tier I and Tier II cities. A portion of the capital will also be deployed to implement its clean air solutions in outdoor spaces and public transport.
