Cleantech co. Hasiru Dala raises Rs.6-Cr from Rainmatter, Next Bharat Ventures
Bengaluru-based Hasiru Dala Innovations (HDI) raised INR 6 crore in a pre-Series A round led by existing investor Rainmatter Capital (via Rainmatter Fintech Investments) and Next Bharat Ventures (a Suzuki-backed AIF).The funding will accelerate HDI’s growth across key areas: scaling its plastics circularity business to enhance recycling capacity and efficiency, expanding its biogas plant in partnership with Carbon Masters, and strengthening its leadership team. It also plans to extend operations beyond Bengaluru, furthering its impact in the circular economy and sustainable waste management initiatives.
Between Feb 2017 and May 2024, Hasiru Dala Innovations had attracted about USD 1 M from Beyond Capital Fund, Ennovent, 3i Partners and Rainmatter Capital.
