Climate-tech player Sustainiam raises $1.5 M led by Orios Venture Partners
Bengaluru-based Sustainiam has raised USD 1.5 million in its first funding round led by Orios Venture Partners. The round also saw participation from angel investors such as Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Rajesh Sawhney.The funds will be used by the company to launch a digital platform for trading environmental assets, increase the workforce and expand globally.Founded in 2023, by Sapna Nijhawan, Sustainiam is a renewable energy certification and sustainable asset issuance company. It provides carbon footprint management solutions to businesses through its platform. The company currently has 3 products: Emission Calculator, emission exchange, and certificate insurance platform.
