Cloud-based accounting startup HostBooks raises $5-M in Series B from Orange Orbit

Gurugram-based accounting startup HostBooks has raised USD 5 million (around INR 42.4 Cr) as part of its USD 15 million Series B funding round from Orange Orbit LLP.The new funds will be used to expand its AI product suite, grow global footprint and strengthen the team across sales, product marketing and operations.Founded by Kapil Rana in 2009, HostBooks offers cloud-based solutions to help businesses in addressing compliance, accounting, finance, and operational complexities.

In May 2022, HostBooks had raised USD 3 million funding round led by Razorpay.
