Cloud kitchen startup Biryani By Kilo raises $2-M from Pulsar Capital
Delhi NCR-based cloud kitchen startup Biryani By Kilo has raised about USD 2 million (INR 16.5 crore) from Dubai-based investment firm Pulsar Capital at a valuation of about USD 100 million. The funding is a part of a bigger round being raised by the startup.The funding round comes almost a year after Biryani By Kilo raised USD 9 million from its existing investors Alpha Wave Global, Vevek Ventures, DSP HMK Holdings, IvyCap Ventures, Incred Wealth and Clear Bridge Ventures.Founded in 2015 by Vishal Jindal and Kaushik Roy, Biryani By Kilo sells biryanis, kebabs, kormas, and desserts. The startup claims to have over 100 outlets across Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Delhi-NCR and offers deliveries across 45 cities.
Between Jun 2019 and Nov 2023, Biryani By Kilo had raised about USD 54 M from Alpha Wave Global, IvyCap Ventures and others
