Co-living startup Tribe Stays raises $2.8 M from Artha Venture Fund, others
Pune-based co-living startup Tribe Stays has raised USD 2.8 million (approximately INR 24.8 crore) in a seed funding round co-led by Artha Venture Fund and Riverwalk Holdings. The round also saw participation from Kunal Khanna, founder and CEO of Vivaldis, and other family offices.Founded in 2018 by Yogesh Mehra, Shantam Mehra, and Aman Mehra, Tribe Stays provides luxury, managed co-living and student accommodation. It currently operates with 650 beds in Pune.The new funds will be used to expand its three sub-brands: Tribe Student Accommodation (hostels), Tribe Commune (coliving), and Tribe Suites (executive apartments). The firm also aims to increase its total bed count to 25,000, in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Gurugram, and Pune.
