Co-working space provider Smartworks raises $4-M from Keppel Land
Gurugram-based co-working space provider Smartworks has raised nearly USD 4 million (about INR 33 crore) from its existing backer, Singapore-based real estate player Keppel Land. Smartworks issued cumulative convertible preference shares (CCPS) to Keppel Land at INR 269 per share. This fundraise comes almost five years after the startup raised USD 25 million in its Series A funding round from Keppel Land.Founded in 2016 by Neetish Sarda and Harsh Binani, Smartworks claims to have over 8 million sq ft of office space across 40+ locations in 14 cities, including Bengaluru, Kolkata, Delhi NCR, Mumbai and Pune.
