Cochin Shipyard to invest in deeptech startup Maritech
Cochin Shipyard, under the company's startup programme USHUS, is to acquire a 5% stake in the Dehradun-based deeptech platform Maritech Integrated Maritime .Founded in 2023 by Kunal Narayan Uniyal and Vikas Gadoo, Maritech operates “Integrated Maritime Exchange,” a digital platform designed to connect maritime stakeholders while facilitating port and logistics-related services.The company intends to use the investment to bolster the domestic maritime ecosystem by fostering digital solutions.
