Coffee equipment and services firm Kaapi Machines raises Rs.50-Cr

In the first external fundraise for the company, Bengaluru-based Kaapi Machines has attracted INR 50 crore in equity capital from Hyderabad-based Sedna HoReCa. Advay Capital acted as the exclusive financial advisor and ALMT Legal as the legal counsel to Kaapi Machines. Sedna was advised by K Law.Founded in 2007 by Suresh Jagannathan and Nils Erichsen, Kaapi Machines provides coffee equipment and services to cafe chains, hotels, retailers, corporates, and coffee vending businesses. While the company began its journey as an importer of international coffee equipment, it has begun collaborating with global partners to assemble select machines locally in India over the last two years. Kaapi Machines plans to use the new funds to expand its product portfolio, strengthen manufacturing capabilities and improve its technology stack, warehousing, and service infrastructure. It aims to exceed INR 150 Cr in revenue during FY27.
