Comfort foods seller WickedGud raises Rs.20-Cr
Thane-based direct-to-consumer (D2C) food products brand WickedGud has raised INR 20 crore. The round saw participation from existing investors, including Orios Venture Partners, Asiana Fund, and actor Shilpa Shetty, besides new investors Shajikumar Devakar (Neo Wealth Management), Ajay Mehta (WPP), Sonika Ravula (Optional Gravity), and Rahul Colaco (F&N).Founded in 2021, WickedGud sells healthy and indulgent food products. The company has an online presence on e-commerce and quick-commerce platforms as well as across offline stores. It claims to have expanded its footprint to over 5,000 retail outlets nationwide.The company plans to use the new capital to scale its presence across modern trade, general trade, and digital channels; strengthen its supply chain and backend infrastructure; and accelerate product innovation.
Between Apr-22 and Dec-24, WickedGud had attracted about USD 3.60 M from Dholakia Ventures, NB Ventures, Asiana Fund, Orios VP, and others.For FY25, WickedGud had reported about INR 13.39 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 10.88 Cr Net Loss.
