Commercial mobility-focused EV player Drivn raises Rs.45-Cr from Avaana Capital

Gurugram-based Drivn (Drivn Transition Pvt Ltd) has raised INR 45 crore in a seed funding round from Avaana Capital.Founded in 2025 by Manav Bansal and Alpna Jain, Drivn builds a full-stack electric mobility platform focused on large commercial vehicles. The company owns and leases electric intercity buses and heavy-duty trucks while providing fleet operations, charging infrastructure, and battery lifecycle management services for commercial fleets. The company intends to use the fresh capital to meet its business requirements.This funding follows a USD 80 million commitment Drivn received from the Japanese financial services group Nomura in February 2026. Following the current transaction, the Singapore-based parent, Drivn Transition Pte Ltd, holds an 88.75% stake in the Indian entity, while Avaana Capital holds 7.22%. Co-founder Manav Bansal holds a 4.03% stake.
