Communication platform CometChat raises $6.5 M more from Run Ventures
Mumbai-based CometChat raises USD 6.5 million (INR 60 crore) from its existing investor, Run VenturesFounded in 2009 by Anuj and Anant Garg, CometChat provides a conversational platform that features real-time chat, voice, video, AI agents, moderation, notifications, and analytics. The platform claims to allow businesses to deploy conversational AI agents without requiring code or specialised AI expertise.The fresh funding will be used by the company to support the company’s artificial intelligence (AI) roadmap and its expansion strategy. The company’s AI strategy is built on 3 components: proactive outbound intelligence, multi-agent orchestration and customer intelligence layer.
Between Aug-20 and Apr-23, Comet Chat had attracted about USD 16.5 M from Matchstick Ventures, Range Ventures, Signal Peak Ventures, Unbound, iSeed, Range Ventures, Zions Venture Fund, and others.For FY25, Comet Chat had reported about INR 17.05 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 2.72 Cr in PAT.
