Compliance automation platform Sprinto raises $20-M Series B led by Accel
Bengaluru- and San Francisco-based Sprinto , a compliance automation platform for SaaS companies, has attracted USD 20 million in Series B funding round led by Accel India, with participation from other existing investors Elevation Capital and Blume Ventures. The new funds will be used for R&D with a focus on intelligent automation and AI, and for expansion into new markets.Launched in 2020 by Girish Redekar and Raghuveer Kancherla, Sprinto claims to help SaaS companies obtain various compliances (such as ISO, GDPR, HIPAA, etc). The co-founders had earlier founded Recruiterbox, which was acquired in 2018 by Turn/River Capital.The latest round takes the total funding raised by Sprinto to USD 31.8 million. In February 2022, Sprinto had raised around USD 10 million from Elevation Capital and Accel India.
