Consumer electronics maker Indkal raises Rs.300-Cr

Bengaluru-based Indkal Technologies has raised USD 36 million (about INR 300 crore) in a Series A funding round led by Mauritius-based Aries Opportunities Fund. The new funds will help the company to improve infrastructure and the products such as air conditioners, televisions, washing machines and refrigerators.Set up in 2020, Indkal is a trademark licensing company in the consumer electronics sector. It manufactures consumer electronics and large appliances for global brands such as Acer and Black+decker. The firm recently announced entry into the smart wearable space and launched Wobble, its own brand of wearable and audio products. Indkal ended FY24 with a revenue of around INR 800 crore.
