Content creators' platform Rigi raises Rs.100-Cr from Elevation Cap, Accel, MS Dhoni, others
Bengaluru-based Rigi, a platform for content creators to monetise their communities, has raised INR 100 crore (about USD 12.5 million) in a funding round led by Elevation Capital. The round also saw participation from Accel India, Stellaris Venture Partners, Sequoia Capital India and angel investors including cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni, CRED's Kunal Shah, NoBroker's Amit Kumar Agarwal, Country Delight's Chakradhar Gade, and social media influencer Sharan Hegde. Rigi will use the fresh funds to build tools for emerging categories of content creators and expand to newer geographies. The platform, which helps creators, influencers and celebrities grow, manage and monetise their communities, has raised USD 25 million till date.
