Continuum Green Energy raises $150-M from Al Gore’s Generation Fund Management at $1-B valuation

Mumbai-based Continuum Green Energy has raised USD 150 million from Generation Investment Management (GIM) managed Just Climate fund at a valuation of USD 1 Billion. GIM was established by former US Vice President Al Gore.Founded by Arvind Bansal and Vikash Saraf, Continuum is focused on building large, utility-scale wind and wind-solar hybrid (WSH) projects with battery storage.Continuum has a capacity of 4,500 MW with projects comprising 1,734 MW fully operational with a target to reach 2,300 MW by March 2025 and 2,900 MW by March 2026.

Between June 2012 and July 2022, Continuum Wind Energy had raised over USD 249.29 M from Morgan Stanley and CPPIB.For FY23, Continuum Green Energy had reported about INR 1,030 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 380 Cr in Net loss.
