Contract foods products maker Parsons Nutritionals raises Rs.700-Cr from Lighthouse

Lighthouse Funds, via Lighthouse India Fund IV, has invested INR 700 crore in New Delhi-headquartered contract FMCG products manufacturer Parsons Nutritionals . The funding round also saw co-investments from the International Finance Corporation (IFC), Evolvence India, HDFC AMC’s Fund of Funds, and family offices. The Rainmaker Group acted as the exclusive financial advisor on this transaction.Founded in 2002 by S.S. Mann, Parsons has been a manufacturing partner for many Indian and global FMCG companies operating in India. It manufactures packaged foods and beverages such as cookies, biscuits, chocolates & confectionery, malted beverages, and ready-drink mixes. This first institutional round of investment for the company will enable it to expand its manufacturing capacities in existing and newer product categories.
