Conversational AI co. Verloop acquired by Mukesh Bansal’s Nurix AI
Mukesh Bansal-founded enterprise AI company Nurix AI has acquired fellow Bangalore-based Verloop , a company specializing in enterprise conversational AI.Founded in 2015 by Gaurav Singh, Verloop provides automated customer conversation services for sectors including banking, fintech, retail, and telecommunications. Verloop currently supports over 20 million customer interactions monthly.The acquisition integrates Verloop.io’s chat automation expertise and regional customer base with Nurix AI's existing voice AI platform, NuPlay. This consolidation is intended to support enterprises in deploying production-grade AI agents across voice, chat, and other AI-native channels for businesses in India and the Middle East.
Between Sep 2015 and Aug 2020, Verloop had attracted about $ 6 M from Lionrock Capital, Pratithi Investments,IDFC Parampara Capital,Alpha Wave Global, MGA Ventures, Others.For FY25, Verloop had reported about INR 37 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 29 Cr in Net Loss.
