Conversational AI platform Gupshup raises over $60-M from Globespan and EvolutionX Debt Capital
Mumbai-based conversational AI platform Gupshup has raised over USD 60 million in a mix of equity and debt financing from Globespan Capital Partners and EvolutionX Debt Capital.The new funds will support the company to enhance its AI-driven messaging platform and expand its market presence in India and Latin America.Founded in 2004 by Beerud Sheth, Gupshup provides AI-powered voice bots on messaging apps, allowing customers to transact on these platforms using them.
Between Jul 2008 and Jul 2021, Gupshup had attracted about USD 374-M from Fidelity India, Growthcap Ventures, Harbor Spring Capital, Malabar Investments, Neuberger Berman, Globespan Capital Partners, New Horizons, Tenaya Capital, Think Investments, Tiger Global, White Oak Capital Management, Charles River Ventures, Helion Ventures and others.
