Cooking paste maker Curryit raises Rs.4.5 Cr
New-Delhi based D2C (direct-to-consumer) brand Curryit has raised INR 4.5 crore in a seed round led by RK Family Trust (Apollo Group), Tangent Advisors, Freeflow Ventures, and angel investors, including Ramesh Damani (DMart Group) and Ajaya Jain.Founded by Richa Sharma and Nischal Kandula, Curryit sells a range of cooking pastes including curry pastes such as Kashmiri Rogan Josh and Butter Masala, biryani pastes, ginger garlic paste, tomato purees, and instant tadka.The firm will use the new funds to expand operations, boost brand marketing initiatives, and strengthen distribution networks.
