CPPIB sells SBI Life shares worth Rs.2,693-Cr

The Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) sold 23 million shares (constituting a 2.3% stake) of publicly listed SBI Life Insurance Company. The shares were sold at INR 1,171 apiece reaping INR 2,693 crore. Prior to the share sale, CPPIB had held 28.58 million shares (2.86% stake) in SBI Life.
