Craft whisky seller Marmalade raises Rs.6-Cr
New Delhi-based Marmalade has raised INR 6 crore in a seed funding round from a group of investors, including Ashok Chokalingam, Robert Sellares, Ishank Gupta, and HomeLane founders Srikanth Iyer and Tanuj Choudhry.Founded in 2025 by Udit Mediratta and Surojit Bhattacharya, Marmalade sells alcoholic beverages. The company’s flagship product, Brightside Craft Whisky, was developed in collaboration with Amrut Distilleries and master blender Ashok Chokalingam.The company intends to use the new funds to expand its distribution, initiate brand-building, and strengthen its sales and operational capabilities. The company also plans to expand into Mumbai and the broader Maharashtra market.
