Creador in talks to invest Rs.800-Cr in Leeford Healthcare
Private Equity firm Creador is in talks to acquire a 10% stake in Ludhiana-based Leeford Healthcare for approximately INR 800 Cr.Founded in 2006 by Jiwan Lal Gupta, Leeford Healthcare is a diversified pharmaceutical and wellness company. The firm’s portfolio includes over 2,000 products spanning prescription medicines, generic formulations, nutraceuticals, personal care, and specialty therapies.The company operates 10 manufacturing facilities and a dedicated formulation and development center in Himachal Pradesh. Its business divisions include core healthcare, wellness, the Cosmacia personal care business, and Leeford Medi Sciences, which focuses on nephrology and urology.
In Oct 2019, Leeford Healthcare had attracted about $88-M from TA Associates.For FY25, Leeford Healthcare had reported about INR 1,718 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 240 Cr in PAT.
