Credit card platform for banks Spense raises $1.85 M led by GrowthCap Ventures
Bengaluru-based fintech startup Spense has raised USD 1.85 million in a Pre-Seed round led by GrowthCap Ventures, with participation from angels investors including Kunal Shah (CRED), Sayandeb Banerjee (The Math Company), Suresh Rayasam (GTM), and Ravi Sudhakar(Microsoft).The fresh funds will be used by the company for onboarding more banks and expanding its fintech partnerships, besides enhancing the product and technology stack.Co-Founded in 2022 by Pawan Kumar and Srinivas Krishnamurthy, Spense is a secured credit card platform for banks. The company builds foundational infrastructure to help banks and fintechs launch its secured credit cards, forex, and prepaid solutions with greater agility, compliance, and scale.
