Cricket gaming platform Hitwicket raises funding from commentator Harsha Bhogle
Hyderabad-based online cricket gaming startup Hitwicket has attracted investment from cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle. Bhogle’s investment is an extension of the company’s USD 3 million funding round, led by Prime Venture Partners in 2022.Founded in 2015 by Keerti Singh and Kashyap Reddy, Hitwicket’s flagship offering is a strategy-based virtual multiplayer cricket game. The platform deploys artificial intelligence (AI) and data analysis to drive up user engagement.The startup is eyeing 50 million downloads in the next two years from the current 5 million+ level.
