Cross-border payments player Zynk raises $5-M led by Hivemind Capital
Zynk , a New Delhi-based financial infrastructure startup, has raised USD 5 million in a seed funding round led by Hivemind Capital. The round also included participation from Alliance DAO, Coinbase Ventures, Transpose Platform VC, Polymorphic Capital, Tykhe Ventures, and Contribution Capital.Founded by former Amazon Pay CTO Manish Bhatia, ex-Morgan Stanley executive Prashanth Swaminathan, and Harvard graduate Abhishek Pitti, Zynk’s infrastructure is claimed to eliminate the need for pre-funding and minimise liquidity operations for cross-border payment providers.The platform currently supports US dollar, Euro, UAE dirham, Indian rupee, Mexican peso, and Philippine peso transactions. It would use the fresh funds to accelerate its push to make global payments instant.
