Cryptocurrency exchange CoinDCX raises $90-M from B Capital, others; turns unicorn

Mumbai-based cryptocurrency exchange CoinDCX has raised USD 90 million (about INR 668 crore) in its Series C round, led by B Capital. Existing investors Coinbase Ventures, Polychain Capital, Block.one, Jump Capital, and a few angel investors also participated in the round. The funding values the company at USD 1.1 billion, making it a unicorn. Including the latest round, the company has raised USD 110 million. The new funds will be used for marketing, strengthening the team and on new business initiatives.
