Crypto-tech startup Coinshift raises $2.5 M from Sequoia, Ethereal Ventures, others
Bangalore-based crypto-tech startup Coinshift (formerly MultiSafe) has raised USD 2.5 million in a seed round from Sequoia Capital India, Ryan Hoover of Product Hunt and Weekend Fund, Ethereal Ventures, Longhash Ventures, Fintech Collective, Consensys Mesh, Defi Alliance, Volt Capital, Gnosis, Protocol Labs and BR Capital. The firm aims to use the funds to scale and for strengthening cash management, financing and risk management functions. Founded by CEO Tarun Gupta in June 2021, the rebranded Coinshift is a software platform that helps individuals and businesses manage their crypto treasuries. Coinshift claims to have processed payouts worth USD 14 million, while holding USD 200 million in treasury assets.
