Publicly-listed, Nashik-based consumer healthcare products manufacturer Cupid Ltd has made a strategic investment of INR 332 crore in publicly listed Kolkata-based Baazar Style Retail , which operates a value retail chain under the brand Style Baazar. This investment will be disbursed over 18 months and funded through Cupid's internal accruals.Founded in 2013 by Pradeep Agarwal, Rohit Kedia, Shreyans Surana, Rajendra Gupta, Bhagwan Prasad, and Rajendra Surana, Baazar Style Retail operates over 250 stores across key markets and offers affordable apparel for men, women, kids from brands like Killer, Monte Carlo, plus general merchandise.The investment will help strengthen Cupid’s retail presence, enhance market access, and accelerate growth within high-potential regions. The collaboration seeks to establish an integrated go-to-market approach by combining Cupid’s manufacturing scale, brand-building strengths, and supply chain capabilities with Style Baazar’s retail platform.
Between Feb 2018 and Aug 2024 , Style Bazaar had attracted about USD 25 M from Volrado Ventures, Rare Enterprises, Others.For FY25, Style Bazaar had reported about INR 1,344 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 15 Cr in PAT.
