Cyber risk management firm Safe raises $70-M in Series C led by Avataar Ventures
Delhi- and Palo Alto, CA (USA)-based Safe , a first- and third-party risk management company, has raised USD 70 million in a Series C funding round led by Avataar Ventures with participation from Susquehanna Asia Venture Capital, NextEquity Partners, Prosperity7 Ventures, and existing investors including Eight Roads, John Chambers and Sorenson Capital.The company will use the newly raised funds to further establish its position in the cyber risk management market and to build agentic AI-native reasoning models to help achieve CyberAGI.
Between Oct 2018 and Apr 2023, Safe Security had attracted about USD 95 M from Eight Roads Ventures, JC2 Ventures, MS&AD Ventures, Sorenson Ventures and Titanium Ventures.
