Cybersecurity firm QNu Labs raises Rs.200-Cr led by National Quantum Mission, Speciale Invest

Bengaluru-based cybersecurity solutions provider QNu Labs has raised INR 200-Cr in a Series A1 funding round co-led by the National Quantum Mission and Speciale Invest with participation from Sony Innovation Fund, Gaja Capital, Artha Ventures, and others.Founded in 2016 by Sunil Gupta and Srinivasa Rao Aluri, QNu Labs develops cybersecurity products designed to protect data and communications from quantum computing-led threats. The company provides solutions based on quantum random number generation, quantum key distribution, and post-quantum cryptography. It currently employs about 180 people and manages a portfolio that includes a quantum-safe VPN.The company plans to use the new funds to support R&D, sales, go-to-market strategies, and partnership development. The capital will also be used to invest in internal processes, IT, and automation. The funding will also assist the firm in meeting the matching requirements for an INR.150-Cr government-awarded research project.

Between Nov 2021 and Apr 2026, QNu Labs had attracted about $ 31 M from HDFC Bank, Singularity AMC, Speciale Invest, Tenacity Ventures, Ashish Kacholia, RDI Fund, Others.For FY25, QNu Labs had reported about INR 41 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 0.35 Cr in PAT.
