Cybersecurity startup CloudSEK raises $10-M from Connecticut Innovations
Bengaluru-based cybersecurity firm CloudSEK has raised USD 10 million in a Series B2 tranche from Connecticut Innovations, the strategic venture capital arm of the state of Connecticut, USA. This investment concludes CloudSEK's Series B round, which previously included a USD 19 million Series B1 round, bringing the total raised to about USD 39 million to date.Founded in 2015 by Rahul Sasi, CloudSEK is a predictive cyber threat intelligence firm that claims to serve over 300 enterprises across BFSI (banking, financial services and insurance), healthcare, technology, and government sectors. The company plans to use the new funds to create jobs and expand its presence in the USA, increasing its USA team from 5 to 20 within the next 12-18 months.
Between Oct 2018 and May 2025, CloudSEK had attracted about USD 32 M from Inflexor Ventures, MassMutual Ventures, Tenacity Ventures, StartupXseed Ventures, Exfinity Fund, IDFC Parampara Capital and others.For FY25, CloudSEK had reported about INR 73 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 6 Cr in Net loss.
