Cybersecurity startup QNu Labs raises funding from Speciale Invest, others

Times of India

Bangalore-based QNu Labs, a “quantum-safe” cybersecurity technology company, has raised funding from Speciale Invest, with participation from WAOO Partners LLP, another venture capital fund and a few angel investors. QNu plans to use the investment for R&D advancements, extending products and technology to a wider customer base through go-to-market associations in the US and Europe and building partnerships for satellite-based Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) technology. QNu is working to solve the challenges of protecting the integrity and confidentiality of data and information by offering quantum-safe cybersecurity. It was incubated at IIT-Madras Research Park in 2016 and later began commercial operations from Bengaluru. The firm has raised INR 32 crore earlier from angels and strategic investors and promoters. (In August-2018, QNu was part of Cisco LaunchPad.)
