D2C brands focused SaaS startup BiteSpeed bags $3.5 M led by Peak XV’s Surge
Bengaluru-based SaaS startup BiteSpeed has raised USD 3.5 million in its pre-Series A round led by Peak XV’s Surge. The round also saw participation from Whiteboard Capital, Gaurav Munjal (CEO, Unacademy), Aakash Anand (CEO, Bella Vita), and Dhruv Vohra (APAC Head, META).The new funds will be used for expansion across marketing, sales and technical verticals and to grow its footprint in North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.Founded in 2019 by Vinayak Aggarwal, BiteSpeed allows online D2C (direct-to-consumer) brands to interact with their customers and sell products on messaging apps using chat as a core communication channel.
Between Dec 20 and Jan 22, BiteSpeed had raised about USD 2.18 M from Peak XV Partners, Whiteboard Capital, LogX Ventures, and others.
