D2C healthcare brand What's Up Wellness attracts Rs.14-Cr from Unilever Ventures
FMCG (fast-moving-consumer-goods) major Unilever's venture capital arm Unilever Ventures has invested INR 14.40 crore in Gurugram-based healthcare player What's Up Wellness to ramp up the startup's team and product development. The funding round also saw participation from a few existing investors in the company. What's Up Wellness, which offers gummy supplements, claims to have served more than 2.5 lakh users till date across India. It plans to launch 12 new products in next two years.
From the Venture Intelligence Angel Investments Database: Whats Up Wellness has raised angel funding from Puneet Sehgal (former COO, Hopscotch), Sahil Kukreja (Director, The Butternut Co), Ritika Jaisinghani (Founder, Elaa), Maharshi Ganatra (Partner, MGA), and Ritesh Ritolia (MD, Boston Consulting Group). Founders of consumer brands such as Soumya Kant (Co-founder, Clovia) and Deep Bajaj and Mohit Bajaj (Co-founders of Sirona Hygiene), Aman Gupta (BoAt), Vineeta Singh (Sugar Cosmetics), and Anupam Mittal (Shaadi.com)
