D2C luggage brand Mokobara raises $9.5 M Series C

Bengaluru-based Mokobara has raised USD 9.5 million (INR 90.66 crore) in a Series C funding round led by Sauce VC, with participation from Peak XV Partners, Niveshaay Sambhav Fund, and Ayra Ventures.Founded in 2019 by Sangeet Agrawal and Navin Parwal, the company is a direct-to-consumer travel and lifestyle brand that offers luggage, backpacks, travel accessories, and wallets.The company plans to use the new funds to support its growth objectives, strengthen its financial position, and build long-term resources.

Between Feb 2020 and Feb 2024, Mokobara had attracted about $ 24 M from Aditya Birla Ventures, Peak XV Partners, Saama Capital, Sauce VC, Alteria Capital, LogX Ventures, Touchstone Capital, Others.For FY25, Mokobara had reported about INR 230 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 10 Cr in Net loss.
