D2C personal hygiene brand Svish raises funding from cricketer Shikhar Dhawan
Gurugram-headquartered D2C (direct-to-consumer) personal hygiene brand Svish has raised funding from cricketer Shikhar Dhawan in a bridge funding round, with participation from Ruchirans Jaipuria and other angel investors. Dhawan has also joined the company as its brand ambassador. Svish plans to use the fresh capital to expand into sexual health and new grooming categories.Founded in 2020 by Ishan Grover and Jaideep Mahajan, Svish is a personal hygiene D2C brand that offers products under three categories: sanitisation, hair hygiene and ‘below the belt’ hygiene.In 2022 Svish raised INR 10 crore in a pre-Series A funding round led by Wami Capital, with participation from LC Nueva AIF. Earlier, in 2021, it raised INR 400,000 in seed funding from LC Nueva AIF.
