D2C startup Origin Fresh raises $1-M led by Aeravti Ventures

Bengaluru-based premium fresh produce brand, Origin Fresh has raised USD 1 million in a pre-seed round led by Aeravti Ventures with participation from various HNIs.Founded in 2024 by Prashanth Vasan , Origin Fresh is a farm-to-table startup, delivering varieties of the freshest fruits and vegetables directly to customers with 20-minute free delivery. The company eliminates middlemen to make the products affordable. The brand has already surpassed 5,000 orders within the first 40 days and enjoys strong customer loyalty, with over 60% repeat orders within two weeks.The proceeds will be used by the company for expansion of the delivery network and infrastructure. The company plans to expand to 200 supermarkets in Bangalore and Chennai by next year.
