Dairy brand Country Delight to raise $25-M from Temasek
Gurugram-based dairy and daily essentials brand Country Delight is raising INR 212.5 crore (approximately USD 25 million) in its Series E round from Temasek.Country Delight would issue 1,00,974 Series E compulsorily convertible preference shares (CCPS) to Teamsek unit V-Sciences Investments Pte Ltd to raise the sum.The proceeds will be used to meet the company’s working capital needs and other business requirements.Launched by Chakradhar Gade and Nitin Kaushal, Country Delight sells a range of dairy products, bakery goods, poultry, and farm products. The company sources its products directly from dairy farms and claims to cater to 1.5 million customers. It currently operates in more than 25 cities, including Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, and Chandigarh.
Between February 2019 and October 2024, Country Delight had attracted about USD 243.73 M from Alteria Capital, Temasek, Venturi Partners, 360 ONE, Elevation Capital, Orios VP, SWC Global Fund, TrifectaCapital, Venturi Partners, Z47 and others,
