Data analytics firm Atlan raises $50-M from Salesforce Ventures, Sequoia

New Delhi-based data collaboration software provider Atlan has raised around USD 50 million in a Series B round from new and existing investors including Salesforce Ventures and Sequoia Capital India. The startup had raised USD 16 million in its Series A round last May. Salesforce Ventures has led the new round with USD 20 million. Sequoia and Insight Partners have invested USD 13 million each while the remaining amount was put in by WaterBridge Venture. Atlan's co-founders Prrukalpa Sankar and Varun Banka have also sold shares worth USD 2 million each to Grace Software and Sequoia respectively.

From the Venture Intelligence PE-VC Deal Database: Between Jul-19 and May-21, Atlan raised over $20-M from WaterBridge Ventures, Insight Venture Partners, Sequoia Capital India, and others.
