Data analytics platform WorkOnGrid raises Rs.22.5 Cr from Transition VC, IAN
Bengaluru-based WorkOnGrid has raised INR 22.5 crore (USD 2.4 million) in a funding round led by Transition VC, with participation from Indian Angel Network (IAN).Founded in 2017 by Udit Poddar, Shreyansh Jain, Aayush Agrawal, and Shaurya Poddar, WorkOnGrid initially provided data consulting for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) before transitioning into a utility data warehousing and analytics platform. It collects and analyses data from systems such as smart meters, field devices, and operational software used by electricity, water, and gas utilities, with the goal of generating insights for efficient network operation.The fresh funds will be used to fuel expansion, strengthen its AI/ML capabilities, and build international infrastructure.Prior to this round, WorkOnGrid had raised USD 820,000 across two earlier funding rounds.
