Data intelligence co Atlan raises $27.5 M from Salesforce Ventures, others
Delhi- and Delaware, USA-based d ata intelligence startup Atlan has raised USD 27.5 million in a new funding round led by Salesforce Ventures, with participation from existing investors Peak XV Partners, WaterBridge Ventures, Grace Software and AT13 Fund. The round values Atlan in the range of USD 480-500 million.Salesforce Ventures invested USD 15 million, followed by WaterBridge Ventures with USD 6.5 million. Grace Software invested USD 3 million while Peak XV Partners and AT13 Fund invested USD 1.5 million each. The new round started in August 2023 with investment from Peak XV and concluded with the tranche from WaterBridge Ventures concluding this month.In its previous fundraise in March 2022, Atlan had raised USD 50 million in Series B funding at a post-money valuation of USD 450 million.Atlan focuses on providing a metadata platform for modern data teams within the data management and analytics industry. Atlan's platform serves enterprises and startups, by integrating with popular data tools and facilitating self-service analytics.
