Database-as-a-Service platform Tessell raises $60-M led by WestBridge Capital
Bengaluru- and SanFrancisco-based Database as a Service (DBaaS) platform Tessell has raised USD 60 million in a Series B round led by WestBridge Capital. The round also saw participation from ?Lightspeed Venture Partners?, B37.vc, and Rocketship.vcThe fresh funds will be used by the company for expansion and for product development in AI-driven data management tools.Founded in 2021 by Bakul Banthia and Kamal Khanuja, Tessell facilitates data infrastructure and data management needs for enterprises. The platform claims to eliminate the need for manual and repetitive data management tasks through deployment of cloud databases.
