DCM Shriram to acquire 26% stake in Serentica Renewables’ captive power SPV for Rs.105-Cr

New Delhi-based DCM Shriram signed a definitive agreement to acquire a minimum 26% equity stake in Gurugram-based Serentica ’s project-specific SPV, Serentica Renewables India Pvt Ltd, for INR 105 Cr.Incorporated in January 2026, Serentica Renewables focuses on power generation, transmission, and distribution using non-conventional energy methods. DCM Shriram plans to use the investment to develop a 58 MW peak hybrid renewable energy project, intended to support its energy-intensive business operations in Bharuch, Gujarat.The project is expected to be commissioned by June 2027. Upon completion, this initiative will increase the total renewable energy capacity of DCM Shriram to 176 MW across its facilities in Bharuch and Kota.
