Debt relief platform Freed raises Rs.60-Cr led by Aavishkaar Capital

Gurugram-based loan settlement and debt relief platform Freed has raised INR 60 crore (USD 6.6 million) in a funding round led by Aavishkaar Capital. The investment also saw participation from existing investors Sorin Investments, Piper Serica, and Sattva Ventures.Founded in 2020, Freed operates a platform that evaluates borrowers based on cash-flow data and behavioural insights.The company plans to deploy the fresh capital to scale operations, strengthen its product and underwriting capabilities, deepen institutional partnerships, and expand its geographic footprint across the country.

Between Apr 2022 and Apr 2024, Freed had attracted about USD 10 M from Multiply Ventures, Piper Serica, Sorin Investments, Touchstone Capital, and others.For FY24, Freed.care had reported about INR 8.41 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 4.54 Cr in Net Loss.
