Deep-tech focused Aum Ventures launches $80-M second fund
Aum Ventures has launched its second fund, Aum Ventures - India Innovation Fund II, with a target corpus of INR 750 crore (USD 80 million). The fund is registered as a Category II alternative investment fund (AIF).Founded in 2022, the firm focuses on deep-tech and IP-led innovation. The firm intends to deploy the new capital in 25 to 30 pre-seed and seed-stage startups over five years, with initial cheque sizes ranging from USD 750,000 to USD 2 million.The firm’s first fund has deployed USD 30 million across 24 early-stage companies such as Skyroot Aerospace, Azimuth AI, Cosmoserve Space, and Sharang Shakti. The firm expects to reach a first close for the new fund in July 2026 and will provide follow-on capital to its portfolio companies.
