Deep tech-focused VC firm Speciale Invest closes Rs.600-Cr new fund
Chennai- and Bengaluru-based deep tech-focused seed VC fund Speciale Invest has closed its Fund III at INR 600 crore.The new fund will support 18-20 new investments over the next four years, focusing on spacetech, advanced manufacturing, energy, health, and artificial intelligence. Over 50% of the fund will be reserved for follow-on investments.Founded in 2018, Speciale Invest has invested in Agnikul Cosmos, ePlane Company, GalaxEye, QNu Labs, Fermbox, Inspecity and Newtrace, among others. Speciale’s earlier funds include Fund I (INR 60 crore), Fund II (INR 300 crore) and a top-up fund of around INR 186 crore for Fund II.
