Deep-tech focused Yali Capital raises $104-M for first fund

Bengaluru-based Yali Capital , a deep tech-focused venture capital firm, has closed its INR 893 crore (about USD 104 million) maiden fund. The firm raised 78% of its maiden fund from domestic sources including Infosys Ltd, Tata AIG General Insurance Co. Ltd, Madhusudhan Kela's Singularity Fund of Funds, Kris Gopalakrishnan's family office Pratithi Investments and ideaForge founders Ankit Mehta and Rahul Singh. Foreign investors in the fund include Qualcomm Ventures.
