Defence and nuclear-tech-focused Prime Industries raises Rs.12-Cr from Uday Narang
Ludhiana, Punjab-based Prime Industries has raised INR 11.86 crore from Uday Narang, the founder of Omega Seiki Mobility, which makes electric vehicles (EVs) focused on commercial logistics and urban transport.Founded in 1992 by Rajinder Singhania, Harjeet Arora and M.L.Goyal, Prime Industries has interests in sectors including defence, nuclear energy, and advanced manufacturing through entities such as Kay Bouvet Engineering and Linga Agri.The company plans to allocate the capital to establish an R&D and incubation centre for its Special Product Division.Narang holds an association with OBSC Perfection, a company specialising in CNC machining, investment casting, forging and stamping for the aerospace and defence industries.
